About the Candidate

DéMaria Artis is a lifelong Floridian who has called Lee County home since 2019.
A Certified Nursing Assistant with nearly a decade of patient-care experience, a nursing
student at Keiser University Fort Myers, a small-business owner, and a mother — she is
running for Supervisor of Elections to ensure that every Lee County voter, regardless of
party, ZIP code, or background, has equal access to a fair, secure, and transparent election.
This is a nonpartisan office, and DéMaria approaches it that way: "I work for voters, not parties."
She is registered No Party Affiliation (NPA) and is committed to running the Lee County elections
office with integrity, accessibility, and accountability from day one.
